A resistance converter is a device that converts a non-electrical signal into a resistive signal, using changes in resistance to quantize and convert the input signal. Its working principle is as follows:

1. the role of the input signal: resistance converter input signal can be temperature, pressure, force and other non-electrical signals.

2. Sensor: A sensor is usually included inside the resistance converter. The appropriate sensor is selected according to the nature of the input signal, e.g. temperature sensor, pressure sensor, etc. The sensor converts the input signal into a mechanical variable.
